CLOSED: Nominations for Board of Director Positions
The Adventure Travel Conservation Fund (ATCF) is looking to add three (3) new seats to our Board of Directors, with terms beginning on January 1, 2018. If you or another ATCF member are interested in being included on the election ballot, kindly complete and submit this online nomination application by June 28, 2017.
Once nominations have been received, we will evaluate and prioritize candidates on the election ballot that fulfill the following preferences for the ATCF Board:
All nominated persons must be employed by an ATCF member organization upon appointment to the ATCF Board of Directors
Priority will be given to candidates primarily living and/or operating outside North America
Strengths should be demonstrated in the areas of: sustainable tourism, indigenous/community tourism, destination management organizations, development/fundraising experience, nonprofit experience and PR/media
Note that the ATCF, and the adventure travel industry at large, values diversity in gender, race, culture, age, abilities, sexual orientation, political affiliation and geography. We seek to reflect this diversity in our board, staff and volunteers.
An election ballot with the top candidates for the ATCF Board of Directors will be distributed to all ATCF members for voting in July/August 2017.
We hope that the candidates presented on the ballot, and then elected to the Board of Directors, will help to represent your priorities as they relate to ATCF’s strategic direction its conservation goals.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Adventure Travel Conservation Fund at info@atconservationfund.org.
