Attending Adventure Elevate in Portland, Oregon

What a wonderful week of reconnecting with our ATCF members from all over the world at ATTA’a Adventure Elevate in Portland, Oregon! It’s been more than over two years, and it felt great to connect with everyone. I spent some time catching up with ExperiencePlus!, Modern Adventure, and Pandion, and learned how business is really ticking up for them. I chatted with old and new friends from World Nomads/Footprints to talk about potential future collaborations.

I also got up early one beautiful morning and did a sunrise hike up Spencer Butte with Grayl, and we were able to see all the central Oregon peaks poking out of a lower bank of fog. I caught up with old friends from Mountain Lodges of Peru, Bicycle Adventures, Tomorrow’s Air, and Reefs to Rockies, and shared our ATCF strategies for 2023 and beyond. And made new friends, Explorandes, journalists Tim Neville and, Kathleenne Rellihan, West Fir Lodge, and so many others! And did I mention that my Day of Adventure started with a morning of trail stewardship along the McKenzie River? What a fun week!

It’s always a wonderful time at ATTA events and I can’t wait to see you at the next one.
