AMI JONES
Ami Jones is a seasoned travel professional and respected leader in sustainable tourism with over 15 years of experience designing and leading journeys around the world. Her work spans conservation travel, educational programs, and boutique expedition-style experiences, with a focus on connecting travelers to the people and ecosystems shaping each destination.
She has held leadership roles at Natural Habitat Adventures, Road Scholar, and Modern Adventure, developing programs rooted in sustainability, community partnership, and immersive design — taking her from the Arctic to the Amazon, always grounded in relationships with local guides, conservationists, and communities.
In 2025, Ami founded TerraFauna Journeys with a vision to design travel experiences that go beyond observation, creating direct pathways for travelers to support conservation and engage meaningfully with the places they visit. Her belief is simple: when done thoughtfully, travel can be a powerful force for connection, conservation, and lasting impact.
